Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) said in a written statement published on Monday that their fighters have carried out an extensive operation against the occupation forces in Afrin and Azaz regions on June 12 and 13.

During the ensuing fighting, five jihadists were killed and nine others injured. In addition, a vehicle of the occupying forces was destroyed and two others damaged, as well as two motorbikes.

HRE also announced the martyrdom of three of their fighters during the fighting; Agir Efrîn, Cûdî Rustem and Yilmaz Efrîn.

The HRE statement said: "They fought heroically until the end. As Afrin Liberation Forces, we will avenge our martyrs. We remember all the martyrs with great respect and offer our condolences to their families."
