A series of public meetings were held in Manbij to evaluate the political and military developments and the economic crisis in the region.

The President of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC or MSD), Ilham Ehmed, also participated in the meetings and spoke about the latest political developments and the economic crisis in Syria.

Remarking that Syria has become the center of the Third World War, Ehmed said; “The Syrian crisis, for which a solution has yet to be found, affects the civilian population most.”

Ehmed pointed out that foreign forces were in Syria for their own interests and obstructed an attempt for a solution to be participated by all the peoples and faiths in the country.

According to Ehmed, the Turkish state seeks to invade the entire region of North and East Syria. She called for resistance against the plans of foreign forces.
