Kongra Star read a statement in front of the house where Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan stayed for a period in the village of Elpelur in Kobanê. The house, known as the ‘House of the Leadership’, was attacked by the Turkish state last Friday. The women said they would be on duty in front of the house on a 24-hour basis.
In the statement read by Kongra Star member Midya Silêman, the attack on the house where Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan stayed was heavily condemned. The statement pointed out that the attack was made against the gains in Rojava, and it was underlined that women will be in action until the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan is lifted.
