Manbij Military Council (MMC) fighter Adil Cuma Zerif lost his life while on military mission. Hundreds of people joined the funeral ceremony to bid farewell to the MMC fighter at the Cemetery of Martyrs in the Manbij city.

Manbij Military Council fighters held a ceremony at the cemetery. Speaking here, MMC Commander Abdurehman Binawi vowed that their struggle will continue with the determination of the martyrs.

Henadi Mihemed from the Council of Martyrs’ Families offered condolences to the families of fallen and the civilian population, stressing that the martyrs have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the people.

Speaking after, Manbij Civil Administration Executive Council co-president Nezifa Xilo said: “We bow respectfully before the memory of our martyrs. We will honor our debt to the martyrs and we will protect our lands against the occupiers.”

Following the speeches, the martyrdom of MMC fighter Nasir Cilexan (Hiretani) was announced, after which Zerif was laid to rest.
