Mazloum Abdi: PYD-ENKS meeting is the first step of meetings to achieve Kurdish unity
SDF Commander General Mazloum Abdi stated that the meeting between the PYD and the ENKS was the first step in a series of meetings to achieve Kurdish unity.
The Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS) held a meeting in Hesekê city at 10:00 am on Tuesday. Mazloum Abdi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), also attended the meeting.
In a message about the meeting, Mazloum Abdi said: “Today, two Kurdish parties, the PYD and the ENKS, came together to define a common roadmap and unify the Kurdish line. The attitude and approach of both parties was positive.”
“This was the first step in a series of meetings to achieve Kurdish unity. We are determined to make this dialogue a success in order to create a pluralistic and democratic Syria where the rights of all components are guaranteed,” Abdi stated.
