A vehicle transporting the human shield activists joining the vigil at Kobane border against Turkish invasion, hit a mine left behind from the period of ISIS occupation in the region.

Euphrates Region Women’s House member lawyer Eyşe Mustefa Elî (45) and driver Xalid Kemal Ehmed (28) lost their life as a result of the explosion, while five other activists suffered injuries.
