SDF balance sheet: 31 Turkish-backed mercenaries killed

At least 31 mercenaries were killed, 20 injured and two vehicles were destroyed, while three SDF fighters were martyred.

The Press Office of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the results of battle in northern Syria for the past 24 hours when the Turkish army and allied groups have continued their attacks despite cease-fire agreement.

The balance sheet announced by the SDF is as follows;

Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain)

The Turkish army and its mercenaries continued their attacks on Serekaniye villages. The occupation army and its mercenaries tried to attack the Java village with heavy weapons and armored vehicles, but they were confronted by our forces, As a result, six mercenaries were killed. In addition, the drones of the aggressor army attacked the populated areas in the Aluk village.

Derik

Turkish army along with the intelligence members continued their movements on the border line.

Amuda and Dirbesiye

Our forces arrested two sleeper cells affiliated to the Turkish army in Kasra village, and They are still under interrogation.

Kobani and Ain Isa

The occupation army with large numbers of mercenaries attacked with heavy weapons the villages of Avdika, Bir Kino, Qandiriya and Judayda. Our forces confronted this attack and fighting broke out in which our comrade Amara was martyred and her body was kidnapped by the mercenaries. In the battles in the Avdika village which lasted until the evening, our forces fiercely confronted the attacks and managed to destroy a tank and an armored vehicle of the enemy, while 25 of the mercenaries were killed and 20 others were wounded. As part of the operations carried out by our forces within the frame of the legitimate defense, a number of Turkish mercenaries were killed, but the exact number is still unknown.

SDF concluded that: “In the past 24 hours, at least 31 mercenaries were killed, 20 injured and two vehicles were destroyed. Despite the ferocity of the war and the attacks by Turkish mercenaries, our forces were able to respond them.
In this resistance, three of our brave comrades were martyred and four others were wounded.”
