A farewell ceremony was held at Manbij Martyrdom for the fallen SDF fighter Newres Musa El Hemod.

Representatives of the Democratic Administration and its institutions, political parties, Manbij Military Council and private organizations attended the ceremony, as well as hundreds of people.

Manbij Military Council member Bozan Kobanê said: "In the past few months, the invading states, especially the Turkish state, have used all kinds of methods and pressure against the region. However, they failed to break the will of the people. Thanks to the martyrs, our people are stronger than before."

Martyrs' Families Council member Fatme Ezo said: "We commemorate all our martyrs who gave their lives for our country. We will protect the legacy of our martyrs and follow in their footsteps."

HPC Executive Board Member Eli El Cimêli said: “We say to those who try to defeat us, that they won’t succeed.”
