According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) the Health Ministry announced on Friday that 83 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been registered in Syria, while 8 patients have recovered, and 3 others have passed away.

The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of cases registered in Syria reached 1515 so far, of which 403 recovered while 58 patients passed away.

The first Coronavirus case in Syria was registered on March 22nd while the first death was reported on 29th of the same month.
