Ten people's clinics will be opened in the canton of Qamishlo tomorrow, Sunday. Active support for the project of the umbrella organization of NGOs in the autonomous region came from the Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurd and the central medical service of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The hospitals' services are aimed at people with low incomes. For example, the cost of medical treatment will be about fifty percent cheaper compared to private clinics. Medications and laboratory tests will also be available for less money.

According to Abdulezîz Abdurehman from the board of the people’s clinics, there will be all departments in the new medical centers except for the specialties of eye and heart diseases. The clinics are to be open at least eight hours a day, and a total of 90 people have been hired. Each hospital will have six specialists.
