Turkey and its mercenaries attack Ain Issa

The Turkish mercenaries occupying forces are targeting Ain Issa once again.

The Turkish-mercenary occupying forces are continuing to attack Northern and Eastern Syria. In Ain Issa, attacks on residential areas bordering the M4 broke out again late on Saturday night.

The shelling was aimed at residential areas on the edge of the strategic M4 motorway, and targeted the villages of Muelek and Seyda. Information on injuries is not yet available.

Ain Issa is bombed almost daily by the Turkish army and the jihadist militias it commands. The city is located south of occupied Girê Spî (Tall Abyad) on the strategically important east-west motorway M4, which runs through northern Syria like a lifeline and is considered a link between the self-governing regions of the Euphrates and Cizîrê.

Turkey is very interested in occupying Ain Issa. Just over a week ago, eleven houses in a village in Ain Issa were shot to pieces by Turkish artillery and tank shells.
