Turkey continues bombing Ain Issa town and countryside

Turkey continued bombing Ain Issa town and its countryside.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement to condemn the "continuous bombing of Ain Issa by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. The attacks on the residents of Northern and Eastern Syria continue and, so far, roughly 60 artillery and tank shells have landed on the heavily populated centre of Ain Issa and its eastern and western countryside, causing extensive damage to civilian property."

The statement added that "on Sunday afternoon, the intensive sporadic bombardment started targeting the neighborhoods of Ain Issa town and the villages of the eastern and western countryside, in addition to the western countryside of the occupied Tal Abyad.

More than 40,000 civilians live in Ain Issa and its eastern and western countryside, in addition to a large number of Tal Abyad IDPs who were forcibly displaced by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries back in October 2019."
