The occupying Turkish state and allied mercenaries have been attacking the Tishrin Dam for 39 days. Located in the Manbij region, Tishrin Dam is 115 kilometres from Aleppo province and 80 kilometres from the Turkish border. The dam, which is of vital importance as a source of electricity generation, has been under intensive attack for weeks and its service capacity has been reduced to a minimum.
Turkish fighter jets on Wednesday carried out an airstrike within 300 meters of the filling-discharging section, the main section of the Tishrin Dam.
Reports are coming through of ongoing activity of warplanes in the area.
