The Turkish army and allied mercenaries have attacked the villages of Aqiba and Ziyaret in Afrin’s Sherawa district at around 21:30 local time today.

An aggression by Turkish forces had claimed the lives of three members of a family on February 25 night.

The village of Sheikh Isa in Shehba region was also targeted by an artillery attack at 20:15 local time.

Further details on the attacks were not immediately available.

The Turkish regime has intensified its attacks on Rojava and the Federation of North-East Syria after the heavy losses it has suffered in Idlib region recently. Civilian settlements are shelled on daily basis. Since the launch of Turkey’s genocidal incursion seeking to invade the region on October 9, 2019 hundreds of civilians have been killed as a result of indiscriminate and violent attacks.
