The village of al-Faris to the northwest of Ain Issa is among those occupied by the Turkish army and allied gangs in their ongoing offensive seeking to invade North and East Syria in violation of international law.
Residents of the village were forcibly expelled from their homes by the occupation forces that constantly violate human rights as the seizure of civilians’ properties constitute a war crime.
Having displaced large numbers of civilians and seized a number of public buildings which were later turned into military bases, the occupation forces have now turned the village of al-Faris into military headquarters after expelling the local population.
Hawar News Agency (ANHA) documented the war crime committed in the village which is located 21 km northwest of Ain Issa. The positions built by the Turkish army in the village were captured by the reporters of the Rojava based news agency.
Local sources state that troops have been deployed in all buildings in the village, including the school, which were turned into military positions. Increased military activity is also reported in the Turkish occupied village in the evening hours every day.
