The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women's Union organized a torchlight march in Hesekê to protest the isolation of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Posters of Leader Abdullah Öcalan were carried on the march.

Medya Ebdurehman, a member of the Young Women's Union, said: "The conspiracy was not only against the Leader, but all the girls and boys of Kurdistan. They wanted to darken our sun and our freedom with the conspiracy. Actions are being carried out all over the world to break the freedom and isolation of Leader Abdullah Öcalan. We will stand up with our will and determination against all dictatorship systems. We will expand the struggle by demanding the physical freedom of the leadership."
