Young people staged a march in the town of Ain Issa in protest at the Turkish occupation of North-East Syrian lands. The protest action, organised by the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, was also joined by the IDPs who are accommodated in the camps.
During the march through the streets of the town, demonstrators chanted slogans against Turkish occupation as they marched behind a banner that read “Heftanin will triumph in spirit of resistance”.
The march was followed by a rally in the town center where Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement member Ali El Ali addressed the crowd and expressed their determination to stand against occupation. Vowing to enhance the struggle for the liberation of the Turkish-occupied territories, Ali stressed that the people of North-East Syria will be worthy of their martyrs.
The demonstration ended with slogans.
