In a written statement the YPG Press Center said: “The Rojava Revolution is a chapter of epic heroism in the history of resistance. Our fighters, who share the dreams of freedom of a people and fight against the war imposed by the occupiers who want to destroy our existence, carry out their voluntary struggle against the invaders with great believe and determination.”

The statement added: “Another of these great act of resistance have been the operations against the genocide and occupation in 2015 that marked the Rojava and North Syrian revolution. Under the leadership of YPG and YPJ, a historical and determined resistance was carried out. We share the identity information of 9 comrades who fell martyrs in different places and times in 2015 with the public and our people.”
