HPG guerrillas Fedekar Yedîgar and Qehreman Kobanê, who stated that the Kurdish Freedom Movement has given thousands of martyrs and paid a great price for 45 years, said, "We promise that we will crown the 46th anniversary of the PKK with success."
Fedekar Yedîgar and Qehreman Kobanê, guerrillas in the ranks of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) spoke to ANF on the occasion of the PKK's 46th anniversary.
Commemorating the martyrs of the revolution, HPG member Fedekar Yedîgar expressed his feelings about the anniversary of the founding of the PKK as follows: "As a result of Leader Öcalan’s efforts, today we are celebrating the 46th anniversary of the PKK. We salute Leader Öcalan, our comrades in the positions, those resisting in the prison and our patriotic people. As Kurdistan freedom guerrillas, we promise our people that we will enhance our struggle until our last breath. The PKK has lost thousands of martyrs over the past 45 years. A very heavy price was paid for a free life. This resistance started with the sacrifice of Leader Öcalan, and the freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan still continue this tradition of resistance.”
The HPG guerrilla continued: “We are fighting a very serious war against the enemy. The guerrillaa are resisting the chemical attacks of the Turkish state with great will and carrying out effective actions. Because of this, the enemy is increasing its attacks day by day. The guerrilla draws its strength to resist against these brutal attacks from Leader Öcalan. A great struggle is being waged in many areas of Kurdistan, especially in Zap, Avaşin, Metina and Xakûrkê. We promise our people that we will crown the 46th anniversary of our party with success."
Celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the PKK, guerrilla Qehreman Kobanê said: "With the founding of the PKK, the Kurdish people were reborn, and a new life began for us. By joining the PKK, we got to know ourselves in this movement and were reborn. The Kurdish people were facing extinction, but with the establishment of the PKK we have achieved great success. As Kurdistan freedom fighters, we are inspired and empowered by the resistance of Leader Öcalan in Imrali. Our hatred and anger against the enemy grows every day. We will continue our resistance until our struggle succeeds."
