YBŞ fighters martyred in Turkish attacks laid to rest

5 YBŞ fighters who were martyred in the air strikes of the occupying Turkish state in Shengal were laid to rest.

In its latest wave of attacks against northern Syria and northern Iraq, the Turkish state bombed 16 locations in the Yazidi town of Shengal (Sinjar) in northern Iraq by warplanes and UCAVs.

A Turkish bombardment on the Barê region of Xanesor on the night of 24 October resulted in the martyrdom of YBŞ fighter Rojhat Ereb.  In the continued Turkish attacks on the night of 25 October, 5 YBŞ fighters were martyred and one other was wounded.

Bodies of 5 fallen YBŞ fighters were brought to Shengal after the post-mortem examinations at the Forensic Medicine Institution in Mosul. The bodies of the martyrs were buried in the family cemeteries in line with the request of their families. The body of one YBŞ fighter will be buried today.

The body of YBŞ fighter Nemir Helîqî was taken from his house in Xanesor and buried in Xatûna Fexra Cemetery.

The bodies of YBŞ fighters Orhan Şengalî, Dilbirîn Şengalî and Dilgeş Şengalî were buried in the Cemetery of Martyrs in Qizilkent village in the centre of Shengal by family members and local people yesterday evening.

Arab fighter Rojhat Ereb was laid to rest in a cemetery in the Arab region.

The body of YBŞ fighter Azad Şengalî will be buried today in Şêbil Qasim Cemetery on Mount Shengal.

Tents will be set up in Xanesor, Tilezer, Shengal centre and Arab regions for the families of the fallen fighters to receive condolence visits.
