Death toll in the Gaza Strip nears 40,000
According to the Hamas government's Ministry of Health, the death toll from Israel's attacks since 7 October is about to exceed 40,000.
The Health Ministry of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll in the Palestinian territories has reached 39,929 since the start of the war with Israel, which has entered its eleventh month.
The ministry said in a statement that at least 32 people have been killed in the last 24 hours, while 92,240 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since 7 October.
