First death from coronavirus in Iraq

The coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Iraq. A woman died in Baghdad and the number of cases in the country increased to 35.

Woman died in Baghdad

Seyf al-Badr, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Environment of Iraq, stated that the first death in Iraq from the coronavirus outbreak was that of a woman in the capital Baghdad.

It was stated that there were 3 more people diagnosed with the virus in the cities of Diyala and Najaf and the number of cases in the country increased to 35.

The first coronavirus death in South Kurdistan was confirmed on Thursday. The victim was the imam of Mehwi Mosque, Mele Reşid, in Sulaymaniyah.
