Hunger strikers in Paris received solidarity visits
AvEG-Kon member H. Özkan Özdemir continues his hunger strike in Paris. He has begun fasting on 1 April and has even joined by other activists.
The 1-month solidarity hunger strike carried out by YS spokesperson Bilen Ceyran, BEKSAM President and SKB member Gülten Yavuz has gone on since 6 May.
The hungers strikers are being visited by many activists from Germany, Austria, England and France.
The hunger strikers welcomed the guests and said that they are determined to continue their action until the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan is lifted.
The hunger strikers said: “Mothers are attacked every day for their courage, yet the resistance is growing and isolation will be defeated.”
