Iranian soldiers today executed an 18 year old Kurd near Turkish border in Ozalp a district of Van province.

According to media reports Murat Eskinyar from Yukari Turgali village of Van was killed by Iranian soldiers this morning. His relatives said he was returning from Iran where he visited his relatives to his village.

Eskinyar’s dead body was found by villagers who searched the area after hearing gunshots. The body was taken to Ozalp State Hospital for autopsy.

Iranian and Turkish soldiers killed 44 Kurds in 11 months in the border region.

In most cases the Kurds were shot directly without warning or any attempts to capture them.
