Turkish Police Department files criminal complaint against HDP Istanbul Congress
The Turkish Police Department filed a criminal complaint against the HDP Istanbul Provincial Organization congress held on 12 December.
As was sadly to be expected, a complaint was filed targeting the HDP Istanbul Congress.
Thousands of people attended the HDP 4th Provincial Congress on Sunday. The General Directorate of Security filed a criminal complaint with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor about the convention.
The slogans chanted for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the singing of "organization" anthems were cited as reasons for the criminal complaint.
