  The first rally for World Kobanê Day in Germany took place in Erfurt where activists demanded the unconditional withdrawal of the Turkish army and its Islamist forces from northern Syria.

• Man tries to rape child in Erzurum, people rescue the girl 

  A man identified as E.K. attempted to rape a child in Narman, province of Erzurum. The man escaped after the people around saw what was happening, and the child was rescued. The people protested at the police headquarters where the man was taken.

  Turkey's former prime minister and Motherland Party (Anavatan) leader Mesut Yilmaz passed away.
