MSD responds to the tripartite bargain in Moscow

The Syrian Democratic Council expressed its suspicion and doubt about the tripartite meeting between the defense ministers of Turkey, Damascus and Russia, calling on people to reject the agreements that target their interests.

The Syrian Democratic Council (MSD or SDC) issued a statement regarding the meeting that brought together the defense ministers of the Turkish state and the Damascus government, under Russian auspices.

MSD strongly condemned “the shedding of Syrian blood by Turkey’s AKP for the sake of the upcoming elections and the involvement of the government in Damascus in these deals.”

MSD reiterated their appreciation of the sacrifices of Syrian martyrs, prisoners and migrants, and their commitment to their moral and historical responsibility towards the aspirations and dreams of the Syrian people. MSD called for rejection of the attempts of the tyrannical regimes against the people of Syria.

“The delicate and critical stage that the free Syrian people are going through requires unity in order to overcome all the problems that the enemy uses as it suits its interests. On the other hand, we call on all pro-freedom Syrians to transcend all the differences in the current process when the future of the country and people’s dream of freedom are at stake,” the statement on Friday said.

Stressing that the future of Syria and the freedom of its people have the highest priority over everything else, MSD concluded its statement with a call upon “all pro-freedom people to confront and overthrow this coalition; “Revolutionary forces and the opposition should unite against the dictator and the sellers of Syrian blood.”
