The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center announced that a security operation was carried out by special teams in the north of Raqqa, and as a result, an ISIS gang leader was captured.

The statement said that after following the ISIS gang leader, with the support of the International Coalition Forces, the special teams carried out an operation in the Hittîn district in the north of Raqqa and the gang leader was captured.

The gang leader, who managed the ISIS financial activities in Deir ez-Zor, was captured alive, along with the documents he had with him.

The Press Contact Center also noted that the SDF and the coalition tried to arrest the same gang leader in Deir ez-Zor in 2019, but escaped.
