Co-Chairs of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) visited the Hol Refugee Camp to monitor the ongoing Humanitarian and Security Operation and defence activities within the camp.
The second phase of the Humanitarian and Security Operation started in the Hol Camp on August 25 with the participation of the Internal Security Forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the People's Defense Units (YPG) and the Women's Defense Units (YPJ).
On the 15th day of the Humanitarian and Security Operation, the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Rûken Ehmed and Xerîb Hiso visited the camp. The ongoing operation was debated during the visit.
“We would like to thank the Hol Camp administration and everyone who are participating in the Humanitarian and Security Operation, which was launched at the right time. This camp is among the most dangerous camps in the world. The Hol Camp poses great dangers to the people of North and East Syria,” Hiso said.
“Just as the Sinaa Prison where thousands of ISIS members are jailed caused huge trouble, there is a serious fear that the Hol Camp might explode like a bomb very soon,” Hiso added.
Hiso remarked that the Turkish state had infiltrated its intelligence and agents into the camp, adding, “This operation has brought peace and comfort to the peoples of North and East Syria.”
The co-chair of TEV-DEM concluded by saying that he hoped that the operation would yield positive results.
The Hol Camp Administration thanked the delegation for the visit.
