• Ten soldiers killed in guerrilla sabotage in Van 

  Ten soldiers of the Turkish army were killed in Van during a sabotage action of the women's guerrilla force YJA Star against an armored personnel carrier.
• Prosecutor orders removal of posters with names of massacre victims 

  Memorial posters with the names of members of the Kurdish Dedeoğulları family attached to HDP Van party buildings have been removed at the behest of the public prosecutor's office. The authority sees a "danger to public security".
• Names of three fallen guerrillas announced 

  HPG announced the death of three guerrilla fighters. Bawer Eruh and Ronî Dêrik were martyred in June in the Medya defense Zones, while Cîlo Reşo fell on August 5 in a battle against the Turkish army in Mardin.

• 6 soldiers killed as YJA Star guerrillas hit Turkish troops in Xakurke 

  YJA Star guerrillas carried out a two-sided action against the invading Turkish soldiers in Xakurke. Six soldiers were killed, and one security camera was destroyed during the guerrilla assault in memory of Xakurke State Commander Martyr Agîd Garzan.
• Military operation and curfew in Mardin countryside 

  A curfew has been imposed on villages and hamlets in Nusaybin and Ömerli districts of Mardin as part of a military operation.

  The People’s Defense Forces said that 8 Turkish soldiers were killed and 3 positions were destroyed in a revolutionary operation carried out by the guerrillas in dedication to Fermandar Mahsum Korkmaz.
• Extinguishing forest fires in Dersim forbidden 

  A fire set by the Turkish military in Dersim’s Hozat district has not been extinguished for five days. The population is prevented from extinguishing the flames.

  The Shengal Defence Units (YBŞ) issued a call for “realization of Autonomous Shengal” in a statement to mark the seventh anniversary of the ISIS genocide against Yazidis on August 3, 2014.
• Commander Çelê pays tribute to commander Cahide: "This war will be won by the strength of women"
