The invading Turkish state's attacks on Shengal continue. On Thursday night, the Turkish state attacked the security point in the village of Barê in Shengal. The Yazidi Women's Freedom Movement (TAJÊ) reacted to the attack, in which one person was injured.

In its statement, TAJÊ, pointed out that the main aim of the Turkish state is to scare the Yazidis. Emphasizing that the Yazidi people will never take a step back, the statement said: "The more the Turkish state attacks, the more we will resist, fight and organize. We are not afraid of the Turkish state and its collaborators. We will not bow to the Turkish state, no matter what they do. These attacks are carried out by the Turkish state with the support of the Barzani family. We will fight to the end against the attacks, we will not leave our lands and we will walk in the footsteps of our martyrs."
