Three Kurdish civilians arrested without warrant in Urmia

The three civilians had previously been detained by security forces during the Newroz celebrations Urmia.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) reported that Iranian security forces have arrested Kurdish civilians Jalal Farrokhi, Rana Khoran and Rozhin Khoran in the village of Shahrak-e Ziveh in the Margavar region of Urmia, taking them to an undisclosed location.

According to the report, Farrokhi and his nieces Rana and Rozhin were arrested without a warrant on the evening of 26 May, after security agents raided their family homes.

All three had previously been detained by security forces during the Newroz celebrations in Urmia.

Despite efforts by their families to obtain information about their whereabouts and condition, security and judicial authorities have not provided any details, KHRN reported.
