In the Libyan town of Mizda, at least five civilians were killed in an air raid by Turkish drones.
According to the spokesman of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Ahmed al-Mismari, at least five civilians were killed by Turkish combat drones in the town of Mizda on Tuesday. The attack targeted a vehicle loaded with food, Mismari said.
"The planes do not fly into the combat zone, but target civilians. A vehicle carrying food and an area where beekeeping is done, east of Mizda called Nisma, were bombed". The attack took place after Haftar declared that the UN agreement on the partition of Libya had lapsed.
Haftar, who is supported by Russia, Egypt, France and Saudi Arabia, does not recognise the government in Tripoli, which is close to Turkey and dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood regime is a bridgehead for Erdoğan’s neo-Ottoman policy in North Africa and is massively armed and militarily supported by Ankara.
