A long march from Heilbronn, Germany to Strasbourg, France started on Monday demanding “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, a Political Solution to the Kurdish Question”. Kurdish and internationalist activists are taking place in the march which will end on February 15.
The Organizing Committee expresses their goal as follows: "We will be protesting the International Conspiracy carried out against Abdullah Öcalan. We will unite against the conspiracy orchestrated by Gladio forces under the auspices of NATO states and tear down the walls of the torture and genocide system in İmralı. We will expand our struggle against fascism and colonialism under the slogan 'You Cannot Darken Our Sun.' This fight will continue until Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom is achieved."
