WOMEN
A march was organised under the leadership of Dersim Women's Platform against the usurpation of the municipality. Women vowed that they would not accept the trustee practices and would continue their resistance.
Stating that the misogynist policies carried out in Kurdistan are not independent of Turkey's special war policies, Newroz Uysal highlighted the need to put up a holistic and organised struggle that will strengthen women’s self-defence against attacks.
Kongra Star released a message of solidarity on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, saluting every woman who stands up against injustice: “Let us make this century the century of women’s freedom and empowerment."
“As we approach November 25th, women need the knowledge of women’s science and defense more than ever. Without knowledge, struggle, and protection, we cannot safeguard our existence,” said YPJ General Commander, Rûhalat Afrin.
