The occupying Turkish state and affiliated gangs continue their attacks against North and East Syria where they have occupied large territories in violation of international law.
According to reports from the ground, the occupation forces bombarded the village of Aqibê, located near the Sherawa district and southeast of the Turkish-occupied city of Afrin.
42-year-old civilian Heysem Ebd El-Rehman was wounded in the attack with howitzers, which caused serious damage to houses and vehicles.
The district of Sherawa is not completely occupied by Turkey. Areas in the east, bordering the neighbouring city of Tel Rifat, are self-governed despite the permanent attacks by the Turkish army and its Islamist militias. Eqîbê is one of those places in the region that are particularly targeted frequently.
