The Shaha Reading Office was opened in Kongra Star Park with the participation of the Tirbespiyê Martyrs' Families Assembly, Cizîr Canton Intellectuals Union, Autonomous Administration institutions and the people of the city.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Alan Roj greeted the participants and said: "We would like to thank those who helped in the preparation and opening stages of this office."
Roj continued: "A great number of Kurdish intellectuals and writers emerged from Tirbespiyê, and they made great sacrifices for their society. We call on everyone to promote reading."
Kongra Star Qamishlo Coordination executive Rodîn Îsa said: "The Rojava Revolution was an example of the struggle for free women's struggle all over the world and achieved great gains."
The office was then opened, and the participants presented the office with books as gifts.
Şaha Sebîr Osman is the mother of Martyr Rêwan Tirbespiyê. She was the first woman to join the Martyrs' Families Assembly and participated in all the actions in Cizîr Canton. She also participated in the Rojava Revolution.
