  Organisations and groups all over the world are preparing activities and actions for Freedom For Abdullah Öcalan World Day on 10 October.
• Peace in Kurdistan joins campaign calling for Freedom for Ocalan 

  The campaign “End Isolation, Fascism and Occupation - Time for Freedom" was launched on 12 September. The Kurds have now declared that 10 October will be a global Freedom for Ocalan Day.

  The Colombian Farmers' Association (ANUC) has reported a new massacre in southern Cordoba, in Colombia, that left three people dead, including a minor.
• Öcalan's Italian lawyer says isolation should end 

  Arturo Salerni is a well known Italian lawyer who was part of the defence team of Kurdish national leader Abdullah Öcalan.
• Trustee in Kars dissolves city council 

  The governor appointed as trustee to the Municipality of Kars has dissolved the city council and the certificates of the council members have been declared invalid. The Kurdish language Twitter account of the former HDP administration has been closed.
• 72 mercenaries killed in Karabakh as Turkey prepares to send more 

  72 Syrian mercenaries killed since Turkey threw them into raging conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said SOHR and added that Turkey is preparing a new batch of Syrian fighters to be sent to Azerbaijan.
• 173 officials urge France to reconsider its strategy in Karabakh

  A Swiss young man, who has been involved in ecologist projects in Rojava for a while to support the Rojava Revolution, was detained in Duhok while on his way back to Geneva. The Swiss ecologist has been held in Hewler for a week.

• Erdoğan threatens another attack on Northern Syria 

  Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan threatens another invasion of Northern Syria. "If the terrorist areas are not cleaned up as promised, we will take matters into our own hands," the regime leader said.
• Trustee celebrates seizure of the Kars municipality with prayer 

  After his appointment as trustee in Kars, Governor Türker Öksüz moved into the city hall with an army of bodyguards and blessed the "conquest" of the city with Friday prayers as his first official act.
