SDF fighters shoot down two Turkish drones

The SDF confirmed that they shot down two Turkish drones.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) responded to the attacks by the Turkish state and its Syrian National Army (SNA) proxies on the Tishrin Dam and its surroundings. In a statement, the SDF said its fighters shot down two Turkish armed drones. 

The statement shared the following details about the clashes in the last 24 hours: "The attacks by the occupying Turkish state and its proxies on the regions of Northern and Eastern Syria continue.

The warplanes belonging to the Turkish army bombed the resistance vigil in the Tishrin Dam repeatedly on Tuesday, resulting in material damage. During the bombing, the SNA attacked a post controlled by our forces in the countryside north of the dam. Our fighters responded and clashes broke out. Many gang members were killed and injured in the clashes. The number of dead and injured could not be learned. During the clashes, our fighters prevented the attack by shooting down two armed drones."

The statement added that "on the Qereqozax front, the occupying Turkish army and its proxies bombed the villages of El Tîna, Cada, Bîr Hesen, Xeseq, Dîkan and the hills of Sêvê and Qereqozax with heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers and mortars. More than 80 shells fell in these areas and the region. Material damage occurred to residents' homes and property."
