  39 female fighters completed their military training in Martyr Ruken Academy and deployed to their units. 27 of them are from Deir ez-Zor.

  Women are uniting against the laws the AKP government of Turkey tries to pass. About 100 LGBT+ and women’s organizations have put their signature under a joint declaration saying, “These laws cannot just be passed for an equal and free life”.

  Dozens of women joined the weekly demo demanding justice for three Kurdish revolutionaries Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in French capital Paris in 2013.

  Koçerin was rescued from ISIS and then joined the ranks of the YPJ, and now she is part of the Operation Cizire Storm. Koçerin says she took a step out of a dark world into the light, and calls on all women to join the ranks of the YPJ.

  Nazlıcan Fırat, one of the YPJ fighters in the Operation Cizire Storm, stated: "Regardless of how massive their attacks against us might be, and regardless of how grave we might get injured, we will avenge all of our martyred comrades."
