Ali Bapir, leader of Komeleya Dadgerî ya Kurdistanê (Kurdistan Justice Community), made a statement following Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan’s ‘Call for Peace and Democratic Society’ announced in Istanbul on February 27.

Ali Bapir expressed his satisfaction with Öcalan’s call and said that this message should be translated into a peaceful solution.

Bapir stated, “I hope the Turkish state will act according to Mr. Öcalan's message. Justice and equality are undoubtedly the basis of unity and the Kurdish people have never demanded anything more than other nations.”
