The special voting process for the parliamentary elections in South Kurdistan (North Iraq) began at 07:00 on Friday under the supervision of the Iraqi Independent High Election Commission and ended at 18:00.
The special voting process was carried out in constituencies in 4 regions of the Kurdistan Region, Kirkuk and 7 cities of Iraq. In the special voting, 715,960 voters, consisting of security forces (peshmerga, police and security forces), prisoners and ill people, voted using biometric cards.
