As the Turkish state continues its genocidal campaign against North-East Syria, which has escalated since the fall of the Assad regime, targeted attacks against civilians have left dozens of people dead or wounded in recent weeks.
On January 28, a Turkish UCAV (unmanned combat aerial vehicle) bombed the public market in Sirrin, leaving 12 civilians dead and 13 others wounded.
8-year-old Ehmed Muyeser al-Reman, who was wounded in the attack, had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Raqqa since. The boy lost his life on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 13.
The occupying Turkish state has been carrying out intensified attacks against North and East Syria for 59 days, causing significant damage to the local population and destroying infrastructure.
According to the Health Board of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, 41 civilians were martyred and 258 others were injured in the attacks carried out by the Turkish state between January 8 and February 1 (25 days).
23 people were martyred and 220 people were wounded in attacks directed against the Tishrin Dam between January 8 and January 30. On the other hand, 18 people were martyred and 38 others were wounded in different cities of North and East Syria between January 8 and February 1.
