• KON-MED calls on Kurds to participate in farewell to Paris martyrs 

  The largest umbrella organization of the Kurdish Diaspora in Germany, KON-MED, issued a written statement urging all Kurds to go to Paris for tomorrow’s farewell to Evîn Goyî, Mir Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl, who were murdered in Paris.
• Göksungur: We will stand up for our martyrs 

  The co-chair of the European umbrella organization KCDK-E, Fatoş Göksungur, called for people to come to Paris on 3 and 7 January to protest the Paris massacre.
• Etxebarrieta: Abdullah Öcalan must see his lawyers 

  Oihana Etxebarrieta, member of the Basque Autonomous Region Parliament for EH Bildu, stated that Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan should be allowed to see his lawyers and called on the EU institutions to put pressure on Turkey.

  The Syrian army says Israeli missiles killed two soldiers and had put Damascus airport out of service for the second time in a year.
• Memorial in Marseille for Roboski, Freedom guerrillas and Paris Martyrs 

  A memorial was held in Marseille for 34 people murdered 11 years ago in Roboski, 11 Freedom guerrillas murdered with chemicals, and Evîn Goyî, Abdurrahman Kızıl and Mir Perwer murdered in Paris.
• HDP Youth Assembly protest Roboski and Paris massacre as well as isolation of Öcalan 

  The HDP Youth Assembly hung a banner on an underpass in Istanbul with the words "Young people will ask for Roboski and the Paris massacres", and in Mersin against the isolation of Öcalan.

  A memorial was held in Bordeaux for Evîn Goyî, Abdurrahman Kızıl and Mir Perwer, who were killed in the attack on the Ahmet Kaya Cultural Center in Paris on 23 December 2022.

  Mantes la Jolie mayor, Raphaël Cognet, visited the Normandy People's Association, and condemned the Paris Massacre saying that they would do their best to enlighten it.
• Iraq announces the elimination of 311 ISIS mercenaries in 2022 

  The Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced the liquidation of 311 mercenaries from ISIS during the year 2022, pointing out that most of them were important leaders of ISIS.
• Activists in La Rochelle protest Paris Massacre 

  The Kurds and their friends in La Rochelle entered the new year with a march against the Paris Massacre.

  On 31 December, Deniz Poyraz would have celebrated her 40th birthday had she not been murdered by a Turkish fascist. The Kurdish woman was commemorated at her grave in Izmir.

  The Assyrian-Chaldean Federation in France was among the visitors to the Justice Vigil in Paris on Saturday.
• Kurdish People's Council in Bern calls for swift clarification of Paris murders 

  The Kurdish community in Bern called on the French authorities to ensure a speedy investigation of the Paris attack and to classify the triple murder as a terrorist attack.
