• Blasts at Mersin and Adana offices of HDP 

  Bomb explosions have been reported at the offices of the Peoples Democracy Party (HDP) in the southern cities of Mersin and Adana.
• Qamişlo operation continues for 11th day 

  The military operation launched in western areas of the Cizîr Canton of Rojava to cleanse villages of ISIS gangs, the “Commander Rubar Qamişlo operation”, is continuing for an eleventh day. Many villages and hamlets have been liberated.
• YPG surround 14 villages between Til Temir and Haseke 

  YPG forces have since last night inflicted serious blows on ISIS gangs between Til Temir and Haseke as part of ongoing operations against the gangs southwest of Qamishli.
• Soldiers assault man from Kobanê in AFAD camp 

  Displaced people from Kobanê protested at the main gate of the state run AFAD camp outside Suruç yesterday after Turkish soldiers assaulted a man in the camp. Troops then attacked the protesters with tear gas.
• Bilgen: HDP the key party in Kars 

  HDP Kars candidate Ayhan Bilgen said his party had a project that suited the cultural mosaic of the province and called on local people to cast their votes for the HDP at the 7 June elections.
• Diyarbakır prison to become museum 

  The Amed [Diyarbakır] Metropolitan Municipality is to take a concrete step towards opening the notorious Diyarbakır Prison as a museum by opening the Diyarbakır Prison Coordination Centre on 18 May.
