  According to HPG data, 2132 soldiers of the Turkish army have been killed in southern Kurdistan and ten helicopters shot down in the past five months while Turkey used prohibited weapons.

  Kurdistan Freedom guerrillas struck Turkish troops in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of Zap. 12 soldiers, including one of high rank, were killed. Clashes are reported in the area.

  HPG reports continued use of banned weapons by the invading Turkish army which has been conducting an invasion operation in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) since mid-April.
