Raziye Öztürk from Asrin Law Office met with CPT, Council of Europe parliamentarians, senior bureaucrats and various groups in the council and demanded steps against the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı.
The Democratic Regions Party co-chair Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar emphasized that Abdullah Öcalan plays a crucial role in resolving issues in Turkey and the Middle East, as well as in establishing lasting peace.
"Abdullah Öcalan must be allowed to meet with his lawyers and family and ultimately, be freed under conditions that allow him to play a role in finding a just and democratic political solution to Turkey’s decades-old Kurdish conflict,” demands PIK.
