A 39-member delegation convened under the leadership of the European Freedom and Peace Platform is going to Turkey with a request to meet with Abdullah Öcalan.
A mass rally was held in Cologne to mark the 100th anniversary of the uprising led by Sheikh Said in 1925.
Speaking at the MEBYA-DER congress, DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır said: “National unity must be our primary agenda. The Kurdish people should dedicate their energy and efforts to realizing the national congress.”
